Think a little... the tutorial says 1024x1024 with 72 (the entire image)
but you most leave a ¨bleed area¨.

Example:
The image you are using most be thinked as a PANORAMIC since when you place it, there is a hole area of it that will not be displayed on screen.

technically in a 1024x1024 format, you most place in the center your image or at least the portion of the image you like most,
and some times you most distor it a bit, in order to get it displayed right way on screen.

you most test it again and again till you get it in the way you want.

The COD2 loading screens are bigger than you can see on your screen and this is how they do it I guess.

I think this is for monitor size settings issues.

OHHH I gotcha lacruzdehierro.... So I tried a 1024x1024 background and then put my picture inside of that but resized the picture to 800x800 and it came out perfect,.... I really wish that tutorial had that in it, that would have save alot of people alot of time...
I am new to all this as im sure most people are if there going through a tutorial. Someone really should add that in there somewhere.. The way it sits right now it looks like you just make your picture 1024x1024 and thats it, but thats SOOO not it....
Dont get me wrong the tutorials are GREAT, but when you guys make these things you need to keep in mind your making them for mostly people who have never done this before so ya gotta "dumb" it up quite a bit!!

Thanks for your help guys!!
