When you patch the game from v 1.2 to 1.4 do you lose your ranks and stuff?? Cheers SpuD

The only time you lose your rank is if you enter a new serial key or reformat or reinstall the game.

if you are ever going to do anything u can backup your rank there is a cod4 backup tool available just google for it m8.. also if you go into a modded server u could lose ur rank once u go back to a ranked server this was spose to have been fixed in the patch but some people still lose their rank.. use the backup tool m8
