I had a similar problem when I first started mapping in COD, my first mapping effort in any game. What I did not understand is that it helps to have a non-leaking skybox built and textured first, then create your first test "room" inside that box. Because if your "room" is all there is to your map, and it leaks, well, that won't work usually.
You say you get no compile errors? Are you sure? Are you reading the MS-DOS window text during and after the compile, do you scroll up through all the text? Make sure there are no ***LEAKED**** messages up there.
If this is not the problem, read up on the tutorials here, remove any custom maps from COD/main, and as a last resort, re-install COD and the COD tools both. |
