either play cod4 or import the Barett from cod4.

I don't think that the models between cod2 and cod4 would be compatible.
Listen CPTYOZ, I can model in milkshape, I already made a thompson gun with a 50 bullet round magazine (the gangster tommygun) and I am (or was) working on a FG42 for cod2. looks real nice both of them! But the dumb thing here is I can't make animations for the guns, like the reload or the muzzle flash.

What? The animations? I think you need Maya 6 for that, but this I don't have.

still same engine, same scaling. convert to obj, adjust tags for cod2, rewrite bones, export from maya 6. why shouldn't that work?

thats exactly what i said. I downloaded it, and then made a really crappy version of a gun.. Then i tried to export it (find a way too) and had no luck.
