As you can see in the picture my texture is being distorted. The strange thing is is that the distorted texture and the normal looking texture below it is the same brush. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

If this is a patch mesh you may simply need to 'CAP' the texture by opening the surface editor (either S or N, can't remember minds gone blank) and hitting 'CAP', 'NATURAL' or 'FIT'

If its a brush then do you get any errors in the compile log?

its a brush. only error i get is duplicate plane error, but that is from other brushes. do u think if i remake the brush and re-texture it the problem may go away, cause I'm out of ideas

i get this problem sometimes - splitting the affected brushes usually fixes it, at other times adding an overlapping brush works

what works well for me is to select the face of the patch and press control+shift N that will cyclet he cap textures and always gives me a better result. don't remember if it works on brushes. I think so, you will have to try it. sometimes just re texturing the brush will do it.

If that texture is the v_stonetrim06 texture, and it sure looks like it might be, I have had the exact same problem with that texture after compile.

The only way I found to fix it was to delete the original brush, save the map, then re-draw the affected brush, and re-texture the faces, then save the map again.
