Strike that. The 'beta' as I called it will be something completely different. It's going to be called 'SNIPE'. Real small map. I've finished it in radiant (w/ correct measurements thanx to StrYdeR) and I've put in lights and I'm currently texturing it to test it, post some screenies, and make the Loadscreen. I'll even start on the Arena file while i'm at it.

why make it small? in cod4 you can actually snipe with pistols and smgs, so no one in their right mind is going to use a proper sniper rifle on a small arena map

yeah really... the point of a sniper rifle is to make shots from very far away. Small maps are the exact opposite of sniper maps.

Like I said, This isn't an absolute version, just for the sake of having a map out there. It's not really huge, but that's about to change. ;)

Doing something solely for the sake of having done something rarely yields a professional or popular result.

If people only wanted kills, theyd play the stock maps. Our job is to bring something new and refreshing. A map devoted entirely to sniping would be huge, but a tiny "snipe" map won't become a snipe map at all. Nobody will use sniper rifles lol.
