hello.

I was wondering how you create an xmodel. what software do you use, and what exporters are needed to get it into xmodel format. I was also wondering if anyone new of any sniper mods thaqt change the shape of the rifle. Please email me back at CPTYOZ@aol.com Thanks [sniper]

For CoD2 you need to have the program Maya 6.0 for making models. Radiant come with a plugin for Maya to export it, and then you use the assetmanager to convert it into a model the game can use.

You can also use either Milkshape3d or LightRay3d to make the .obj file and then use the xmodel creator for cod2 at:

http://cod2.wesoco.de/index.htm

I have no connection to that software, but it looks useful for this purpose.

Yes, this works quite well! I made the some cool stuff with milkshape: a knife, FG42, thompson with drum barrel mag, parachute, ak47 (not good), and will made plenty more in the future[casanova]
