Sorry for this, but i want to try some mapping with DoomIII but i cant find the editor i must be blind!, i have looked on this site and cant find it?! can anyone please tell me were i can download the editor.

nah.. it's a little confusing at first.

To get to the editor, you need to make an adjustment to the way the game loads. Either make a change to the desktop shortcut or create an autoexec.cfg file. I am using the cfg file and here it is:

Set com_allowConsole 1
set r_fullscreen 0

that's it. That means that I can open the console to run the editor and that the it's not in fullscreen mode which can be important for some people.

Now that you created the cfg file and saved it to the folder C:\Program Files\Doom 3\base .... start up the game and hit the ~ key. That will open the console.

type: editor

hit enter and the editor should load for you. Then you are on your way.

Im sorry, i ment to say the radient editor sorry i just searching for the actual program that i can map with.

ah.. that I don't know.

head over to qeradiant.com and download it from there. It's probably just "install and run".

As I remember, QeRadiant released a beta version of the editor with Doom3 support. Again, it's the beta version.. not final.

Either way, I always found beta versions to work just as good. Oh well. Have fun.
