Hey guys, I just saw a commercial for this game called Battle for the Pacific, and thought it looked pretty cool. It is being put out by Activision and the History Channel.

Here are some screen shots. It looks a lot like COD3 graphics in a way. Maybe not as crisp, but still looks fun.

I wonder if this could be a possible glimpse of what COD5 will be based on? I mean as I said it looks a lot like COD3.

Textures look very low res and bland in those screenshots, more like something you would see on the wii.

Could be an interesting game though.. look quite action packed.

The game and all looks very nice, though it needs some retouching on the recoil and muzzleflashes, also the AI seems very static.

Maybe the Colors are highly low-res because of the fact of all the models probally used. Jungles have lots of trees ya know.

Just look at MOHPA for example they had bland colors too. Just a guess though otherwise the game looks pretty good, and besides it has to be good if Activision jumped in.

is there a PC version?

It doesn't look to bad. I might check it out.
