hi im not a doom 3 player but i might get it but i jus wanted to start mapping with it even without the game so can any 1 tell me were i can dl the map making file.?????

I use the one built into the game.

However, I believe you can also use one of the latest versions of gtkradiant (qerradiant.com).

i dont really see the point of mapping for D3 if you dont have the game. How are you gonna see what the actual level is gonna look like? Get the game. Its worth it!

From what I hear, the GTKRadiant editor has a lot of problems, and lacks some of the key features of the built in editor. If your a modder, mapper, or any kind of editing-lover, you should get Doom 3. It's incredibly versatile.

tbh doom3 is a must buy game, its got great graphics, gameplay and its scary as hell, even if ur not into 1st person shooters, where better 2 start + with doom3 u get the editor with n the 2nd u play the game u will be dyn 2 make ya own sh*t scary maps, so get ya parents 2 buy it ya (if ya still in school im guessin ya not quite 18 yet tho i may be wrong) n get playin doom3, tho it is very scary n it freaks ya out at times but its the best game i eva played, its gonna b better than hl2, hl2 will probs sell more copis due 2 the fast that it has cs:scource (i.e thats the only reason im gettin it) but doom is the all time great GO AND BUY IT NOW!
