How do you like the Perks and Challenges?
What's your favorite, and least favorite?
Do you have any suggestions for future patches or expansions?
Overall I'm pleased.
Personally, I hate Martyrdom.... just as much as I like it!
Special grenades are a nice feature.
Suggestions:
* Acquire timed/fused explosive devices.
* Get rid of the jet and helicopter strikes. Calling in artillery is good enough and can be expanded with different ordinance like napalm, scatter bombs and others. >> I can't drive a vehicle, but I can all of a sudden hop into a jet or helicopter?? ![[confused]](images/BBCode/smilies/confused.gif) <<
Opinions? |

i love this game, but it's so much of a spam fest
the uav, airstrike and helicopter is a bad set up. Just been watching a game and it played like this
player gets 3 kills and launchers a UAV,
gets 2 more then gets an airstrike
aims airstrike at a load of blips on the radar gained from launching UAV scoring more kills
Now helicoptor is enabled, he calls it, then runs into a group of enemy players and purposely gets himself killed
Because he died and lost his streak he'll gain more kills from the still active helicoptor leading him to get the UAV, airstrike, chopper combo again without having to fire a single bullet
the other irritating thing is that some people are already using memory editors to level up quickly to gain the more useful perks. Guess it cant be helped though

I think I was in that game with you Dilbert. At least I was playing with you the other night and this sort of thing does seem all to common unfortunatly.
I did enjoy the airstrikes and chopper support at first when I first got it, but now it does seem like it is the ultimate spammers tool.
Perhaps losing the abilities when you die is an option, but it would prevent the tactical use of the abilities as players would decide to deploy their ability as soon as they received it, rather than risk waiting for a UAV and losing it.
Another idea could be to allow the server to limit the amount of times players can deploy each ability (eg. 3 UAV's, 2 Airstrikes, 1 Chopper per round).
I sense a mod coming on! ![[casanova]](images/BBCode/smilies/casanova.gif) |

Well the thing I've found is that the stock maps just aint that suitable for games of 30 odd plus. Playing on the united noobs servers, they have 50 slot servers and hardcore mode its just constant spammng of airstrike with each one getting 10+ kills
One tweek I might make is airstrike = 5 kills + alive for 2minutes, chopper 7 kills and alive for 3 or something along them lines. Also they shouldn't carry over to the next round. I had an airstrike on pipeline in a game of SD so I used it the start of the round aiming for the chokepoint, killed the entire team just like that lol, choppers are also deadly in SD
As for perks my favs are things like steady aim, quick reload and bandolier, but with the martrydom and last stand I think they activate too quickly, I mean in reality if you knifed someone from behind how would they be able to unpin a nade? so a little tweek to give it a second to activate once you're shot in body not the head. something like that anyway
Also other minor changes I'd make were slow the pistols down a tad and change the p90's sound, its just not as cool as in the movies lol
