Glock 9mm semi auto/automatic pistol

L93 Sniper

SA80 (L85A2) - with-without Launcher m203 or newer

(as lasers can be done what about torch attachments?)



(modify the Light machine guns so their accuracy is all other the place - then add weapon mounts - like in UO - so the player has to set up the machine gun making it more accurate and of more tactical importance to multiplayer - and so theres no animation required just have the bipod always open)

just a thought - anyone know the maximum amount of weapons the game supports? Some of the weapons don't have all their possible attachments, so have IW reached the limit?

would be nice to remove tracer rounds from silenced/sniper weapons, as it is incredibly unrealistic. The entire point of silenced weapons and/or sniper rifles is to kill without being found. Tracers kinda defeat the entire purpose.

I doubt it. I'm right now trying to figure out how to make a weapon mod without deleting the player's rank, which is kinda hard.

Thanks for all the feedback guys(and gals). I've got some great ideas... atachable flamethrower? [biggrin] explosive rounds that AREN'T tracer? [wink] or maybe... [evil] the most BA sniper rifle possible? [evil]

What I'm going to to is put all these weapon ideas (and more!) together into one mod.
Here's the list so far:
  1. attachable flamethrower
  2. explosive round SMG/LMG
  3. Super Sniper Rifle
  4. full auto-long distance shotgun
  5. (possibly) mounting LMG's
  6. Glock .45
  7. Possibly a sawn-off?
  8. ...

I also might do a WWII Mod. I wouldn't have to go to too much trouble! List includes:
  1. Thompson
  2. k98k
  3. g43
  4. scopedk98k
  5. springfield
  6. mp44
  7. mp40
  8. Panzerschreck/Panzerfaust
  9. ppsh
  10. m1Garand
  11. m1Carbine
  12. svt40

No mod uses the same rank as the stock game, so good luck with that.

Or something like that. I'm gonna check through CoD4 and see what I can find.

P.S. Don't ask what a mod script is. I don't even really know.

curious..... I was looking at Rcon via newsgrabber (thanx foyleman!) and I wondered, whats under the console tab? I downloaded to see but alas, I don't have a server for my own.

nop, i added 9 new weap files (copys of airstrike_mp with a number in front) and the game still loads ok

if your planning on adding it to existing weapons your going to have to re-model them as the nade launcher/ silencer and scopy things and stuff are not attached to the model but the whole gun is a single model (a new one for each attachment o_O) ... and i dont think cod4 supports flamethrowers? only cod uo does of what i know

heres som little test mods i did

basicly added a fast nade launcher and increased clip and a little play with spec and normal maps (normal meaning the image that makes the gun more 3D with shadows) you can see the nade launcher part is... well kinda different and the big part of the main barrel is kinda shiny (specular map think its called)
