FYI If you haven't already been here. Go have have a look. There are two movies on how IW made a couple of maps for COD4:MW. http://www.infinityward.com/modernwarfare/index.html The videos for the making of Overgrown and Crash give you a good overview of how they make there maps.

Now that I've played these actual levels. From this footage you don't realise how much details theres there is, especially in overgrown. Out of all the MP maps I think I like that one the best. What seems to really make it is all the effects and nice vegetation everywhere.
