Because there isn't a tutorial section for crysis yet (I hope it comes soon), here are two websites with tutorials about crysis mapping. They don't have much tuts yet, but I'm sure that will change very fast. I hope you guys like it [jumping].

No problem [pimp]. I got them from another (dutch) forum, and I posted them here to help others [thumbs_up].

But off-topic: will there come a tutorial section for crysis here too, and if it is, when is it gonna come [confused]

But I haven't linked the section on the left side because there aren't any tutorials in there yet.

Alright. I have plans to remake that video tutorial tonight. If everything goes well, I can have it out tonight or tomorrow morning. The reason is to clear up some confusion on the texturing of the terrain.

I wached the video tutorial, and I have to thank you: when I first opened the editor, I didn't understand anything of it. But you got me started with that video tut. Thanks [thumbs_up]

It didn't go well, but it's still coming. The recording kept crashing on me at the end. Yeah... the end. I ended up re-recording it like 4 times last night. Whew... good thing I was able to stay up late.
I am editing the video now and should have something in a few hours. We'll see how long it takes to compile the final video into the two movies for upload.

Here's a tip to sort out a problem that foyleman encountered during the video:

You drag in some turtles (for example) and they look like chickens (WTF?). Well; select the object (NB if you can't find it hold down the spacebar and it should show up) - an "Entities Properties" menu should show up on the right of the screen. Look through that for the "Model" entry and double-click on it, then browse through the folders until you find the model you want (turtle.chr in this case). Click on "Open", then right-click on the object in your perspective view and click on "Reload Scripts" - you should see turtles.

Now, if only I could work out how to stop my Great White Sharks swimming backwards...

*edit* I should point out I'm using the editor that comes with the game here - not sure if it'll work with the one that came with the demo.
