I am currently fooling around with AI paths and stuff like that. I have one problem though. I have followed this tutorial to the end (http://www.modsonline.com/Tutorials-read-380.html). The problem is that when I need to connect the nodes to the actor (by selecting the cover_crouch node after selecting the actor, and then hitting "w"), the space at the bottom of radiant says"Must have two brushes selected" and wont connect the nodes to the actor. This is probably a really n00bish question and I will probably feel pretty stupid after but I've tried everywhere without any answers. Any help??[confused]

Instead of using 'W'. Try targeting them manualy.
Select one of your Ai, press 'N' and enter these keys/values:
Key: target
Value: ai1cover

then de-select everything then select the node u wish him to go to and type these keys/values in the entity window:
Key: targetname
Value: ai1cover

If thise doesn't work reply back :)

are you sure it is doing this when you are connecting with W?
is there a line with a arrow pointing from the AI to the node?
does the AI have a target to the same name as the targetname?
AI
target
node

NODE
targetname
node
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.

These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

Make sure you select the actor first than the action node and press "W".
