how i make a nice roof, ino how to make it angled up, but not the sides

what do you mean you don't know how top make the sides? that's the easy part! I just use the E button and move around the main points until they make the shape I want them to make. Then you make another layer that is also angled but it goes out a little further than the previous layer and is the shingles texture

the way i make roofs are t make a triangle for the sides of the house, then make two brushes for both sides of the roof, i then rotate the brushes so they are like a triangle but with no centre, then i would position them over the two triangles at each end of hte building, hope thats understandable

I usually make a box on top of the house that's a little wider and longer than the base and use the clipping tool from 2 different angles to make the basic shape. Then I do it again to make it into a V.

Next I highlight the two walls that the V is eating... if you know what I mean... and raise it up to the top of the V.

I then clip those walls along the lower part of the roof.

Sorry if that was a bit confusing but it's pretty easy, just hard to explain. It makes good roofs for outside houses, especially in a French style map. You might want to do one of the other methods if you intend to go inside it.

You stated that you werent trying to be mean and yet that is exactly the way you are coming across with your posts lately. Take a hint from our gentle reminders to you about your style.

I understand that you are young and you are trying to project a grownup and mature, educated point of view but guess what, you are failing.

If this continues and you fail to treat people with respect then I will report this behaviour to Foyleman and the other mods to consider action.

once again, I haven't been trying to be mean to anyone on this site. when there's an issue, I address it rather than yell at people. if it seems like I have an anger issue, then I'm sorry but I actually do have a slight anger issue. I've been officially classified as a brute by everyone I know(off the computer). I'm not exactly the "play one game for 76hours straight" kinda guy(not that I'm saying anyone is...). either way, I consider alot of people "geekier" than me cuz more athletic than anything: football, basketball, baseball, soccer(used to but still for fun).

forget what I just said. pardon me for being a person, jeez.
