I was just mucking about on the editor (as u do) when i noticed the animations of the monsters so i wondered how i cud make a trite, the spidery ones, come down from the ceiling wen the player sets of a trigger. If anyone cud explain the procedure i shud follow for this to work then plz let me know.

it really doesn't matter am not that bothered that no one replied as seem as i figured it out

anyhow wat u do is pick a monster (i used a trite as i wanted it to come down of a wall) then find the animation u want and its best if u watch the animation play over and over again so u can place ur monsters exactly where u want. I made the anim
key (the one which changes when u pick the animation) value just idle as the trigger_anim hides the moster untill u trigger it.
then enter
key:trigger_anim
Val:(wat ever animation u want) in my case its offwall so mine
wud look like this:

key:trigger_anim
val:offwall

then u make a trigger once and target the monster.

I'm not entirely sure if this is exactly wat u do but it works for me. [smile] hope it works

Im trying to find the climbing zombie anim that you see in the sp game where ur at the bridge and a zombie climbs up through a broken railing. Is this anim specific to a certain zombie model because I can’t find it in the list of all the zombies ive looked in?

I haven't played with teh animations, but I believe that any zombie animation should work with any zombie because they have the same parts (arms, legs, etc).

You should find the animation and try it with whatever zombie you want.

If you can't figure out the animation, then look it up in the game. open the map, find the spot, look for the zombie and write down the settings.

..or.. tell me the name of the map and a little more info on where in the map you see this and I will look.

Ok yeah I found it. It is specific to a certain type of zombie. There are 2 types of it there’s the underground_invasion_labzombie and underground_invasion_maintzombie.
These are the two that ive found to have the specific anim I was looking for. And the anim is climb.
