1.) my statement stands about people having other things to do. 2.) it would be hard making a map between two people because then you would have to send it back and forth multiple times so that you both get to map. 3.) if someone does map with you then you might not always agree on what to make or how to make it.

i want to learn how to make maps, can somebody help me with some starting tips? i've tryed following the tutorials but when i try to load the map the console gives a lot of faults...

JhoonShakes, Welcome to the Forums! Also, Some tips. Always save your work. You will see what you have learned over time. Never give up on a map. Be really creative. And if you want, Make your map on a piece of paper first. Good Luck!

How would it be hard for both of you to map. They made the tools so you can map with others at the same time. Come up with a design on paper that compromises between what you both want or let one lead in what it suppose to look like i.e. peanut. Then you can make prefabs and add them in. One person would make the big picture on their computer, while both were making the buildings at the same time. Ill give you the fact people are busy. School has started up, summer has come to an end so not as much free time. Just 1? i got to ask ya . . . how do you think the people who made the game do the maps? Only have one person work on the entire map by themselves, and take forever.

I currently have a LINUX server running with maps I make. But it is COD I, and I use Patch 1.5, running codam. I am planning a project where two teams will design half of the map, and one person will weld them together, so that it will be more fun... My website is: www.callofdutyworld.com and the server is \|USMC\| Sniper 24/7. We also have a tutorials section, but I have just recently started this section.
