I was trying to fit a brush to a size i wanted, but it wouldn't let me resize it, just move it! So i saved and reloaded it to see if it was just a small one time error. When i reopened the map the oly thing left was entitys, all the brushes were gone. I checked the show option, and brushes was checked, so they weren't there at all. When i saved it the brushes were there too.

You are the second person this week to report this error.

The other person had was able to use the .bak file to recover his work. Hopefully you can tdo the same.

i had this problem a week or so back and even my .bak file was messed up, i ended up haveing to redo the whole map :(
altho it only took me half the time because i knew exactlywhat i was making where etc, no wi make a extra backup everytime to prevent this from happening again

This too ahs happend to me.

I hadn;t touched the level in a week and I am used to saving A LOT. I know what bad things can happen with maps...


I jsut thought of looking at teh .bak files today btu tehy too were overly ruined.

It could be worse, I could have not made sequential saves... 1 2 3 anyway.

Its some bad bug.
