The “$100 laptop”, designed to close the world’s digital divide by making low-cost computers available to children in poor countries, will actually sell for $188. News of the price hike comes amid fears that the non-profit One laptop per Child (OLPC) project risks floundering amid fierce commercial competition and wavering support from governments in developing countries. Ive read about this laptop in Popular Science. The developers really put in effort to make this thing cheap. It even has a crank on it to power it. I'm trying to dig up the magazine I saw it in, they had a lot of info

Will it be able too run CoD2 . Plus I think its a good thing that kids in Africa, Darfur, etc. might be able to use a computer, and maybe highspeed interenet so they might be able to teach themselves, and get a goood edumication like me.

CPU clock speed: 433 Mhz Drives: No rotating media DRAM memory: 256 MiB dynamic RAM I wouldn't count on playing CoD 2 on this computer. I wouldn't count on even being able to install it. Its probably good enough for wordprocessing, and looking at pictures of food.(mean joke)
