Kwari sounds like a good concept and if they can pull if off in a fair and just manor then yes - I would be interested.

For one I can identify with this concept since I can compare it directly to a realife sport.

At the begning of the year I took up squash. On entering a squash tournaments I found out that based on your performance you could win back your entry fee if not more. It definatly gives you more incentive to achieve and strive to win your games.

With Kwari, they also mentioned you would have the oportunity to win a jackpot worth millions which would be a damn lot more fun than simply buying a lottery ticket every week! and win nothing!

The only concern I have is this could turn gamers into gamblers!

Do you win more than the cost of you bullet if lets say you only use one bullet?

If so then you could just take turns (with a trustworthy friend) killing one another with a single headshot and winning the cash prize... Or maybe they already have a system to stop those kinda circumstances.

techno2sl writes... You use the same ammo for all weapons. Except some weapons when you fire use more bullets. You purchase 5000 rounds of amunition. The rockets launcher uses say 10 bullets when fire. Shotgun say 5.

As I understand it. When you shoot another player you gain credits and they loose. If you fall and hurt yourself from a height you loose credits. You can sneak around breaking crates and gain credits by collecting the contents.

Then there is what they call the Pill. You can win the jackpot by either a) holding the pill the longest b) finishing the round with it in your posession. So it could potentially be shared between two people. If you by chance have both, then the full jackpot is yours. The only disadvantage, whoever has the Pill can be seen by every other player in the map from anywhere.

techno2sl writes... When your in the game. Apparently you cannot identify who the other players are. I guess you could try and by pass this by having you an a mate on Vent or similar. But there is no gurantee that you will both enter the same game. They will rank you and put you with other players who are in your skill range. This game designed for solo play - not team. Alot of this comes down to the fact real money is involved. Still, I'm sure someone will find away to scam it?

They have some great ideas. If it works then it should be a huge success.

Due to the nature of the game. You will not be abe to mod or map for it. They will release new content but to what degree they have not stated.

Still. I'm interested and have signed up for the Beta.

Me and my freind are gonna try format his hardrive today, so i can install xp on it, cause thats the only way i can think of getting vista off there. I will Let you guys know how that turns out

Ok well we tried it out. I put the xp installation disk in and it tells me that I can't do that cause its a higher version than I am trying to install. So I went into the bios set up and what I find is that vista has a completely new bios set up and a new bootstrap loader, and I can't find anywhere that says I can format the hard drive. So as far as I can tell it’s recoded the hard drive or something
So now I have no idea how to get vista off there
