after adding some models to my map and compiling i got some (or i could see) sharped "things" like (maybe) degenerated models somwhere, when walking a map, blinking fast

any ideas what it could be? compile error or what because almost same map (only little changes) but without some models doesn't do this

get a bit crazy and angry

Blinking means you have more then 1 brush occupy the same place ( overlapping brushes ).

Its not all models that are good for MP maps. For vehicules and many others find the model name ending by _static.

yes I know what does owerlaping brushes but this is different

it's like big sharped model you can't see over map, but when you walk you somewhere often see shoving up this sharpes (like hiding and showing in milisecond)

[banghead]I have problems with 'node without a volume' but I have it before to and without seeing sharpes

btw what is 'node without a volume' and how to fix it?
-I want have my map bugless

well - fix those nodes w/o volume.

they are brushes that have gotten smaller than 1 unit in one coordinate direction

use misc --> go to position then draw a brush that is approximately 20 units ^3

try and place the origin of that brush (exact center (coordinate readout for brush entity (entity editor))) at the problem coordinates

With the 20^3 brush selected press i then backspace to delete what it selected.

save your map

repeat process for all of the coordinate sets displayed then try a recompile....if more pop up then repeat - or if the same ones pop up use a bigger brush than 20^3 and repeat

you also have to seal your map, find out why it is leaking and fix it
