everytime i change something in radiant i compile it but i get in cod2 what it looked like before.. i deleted some barrels and they are still there everytime now i made almost al the gras into stones and deleted the water to make better water later and still i see the grass [crazy][ohwell]

i dont have the .iwd in my main map anymore ( that was the problem first but i've deleted that and stil i got this problem.Could anyone help me[confused]

try View -> Show hidden (Shift + H) if u don't hide (H) some brushes
or u play another map because it's impossible after compiling to have same map after changes

nope nothing's hiding.
i deleted some barrels and theyre still there i really have the fealing that i have a .iwd in the main map but i haven't i searched through my pc looking if i got my map somewhere in the cod folder but i havent accept for the bps i get after compiling,

when you recompile a map you need to go to your maps/mp
folder and deleate D3DPRT AND D3DBSP FILES of that name ,before recompiling the same map to have your changes show up.
at least for me ,this is what i do ,and i find that after deleating thoughs a few times it helps to disk defrag to run smoother

i deleted them but now i press compile then i get that vlack window with text and then when it scrolls down it stops at -----fs_startup-----
and then the window dissapears but when i look in my cod2/main/maps/mp i dont see a bsp and the other file so it doesnt compile anymore[confused]

go to the last thing that you changed , i have had this before
when it wont compile like that there is a scipt error
bad sintex or [most likely bad model ] i open it and remove the last model that you where adding and try again

also i have open my map with note pad and look for a xmodel
that has no orgin or no angles right down the name open radiant and remove ,or add angles to that model
these are called entitys your error is most likely at the bottom of your list scroll down to the bottom to find your most recent
entitys

also if you added a sun and its not right it can cause this error
i open with note pad and add this to the top for sun values . this is a working one that i use

iwmap 4

add the lines below { and above "classname worldspawn"
this gives you nice values

Also, if you accidentally messed with your skybox, leaks can cause it to not write to file. Check your compile log for any errors.

Replace your original compile batch file with this one (make a backup of your original first).

With this batch file the compiling process make a pause after each stage.
