look for some scripts eg. breakable windows without scripting ao use your ow script and trigger damage

As ahoji said the tutorial for breakable windows will help you. It basically achieved by creating 'script_brushmodels', there is not any scripting required to have something 'break', but if you wanted to include a sound and some effects you will have to include a script. To make thing much less complicated make sure you get the brushmodels working the way you want before introducing any scripting.
