What is the general opinion here about what was done? Should it be reworked with a complete terrain mesh on the base of the map so that they don't overlap? Should the mesh subdivision be simple or complex?
i dunno, if we can change the brushes to terrain meshes and create a depression in them i'm happy enough with the map. I was worried because the surrounding hills aren't really high or smooth enough. If a player gets on a roof or if there's a church (there's always a church, by cod's law) you can see the boundaries of the map, but if we're allow to add terrain we can get around that - just worried that by adding terrain the map won't look much like the starter map |

Hey folyle is it possable we could add little things further out, past the skybox? Cus the map i started, (just a few buildings in caulk), just baraly fit, so there is terrain work, and some things out for background would be nice, but i can mannage without, but it would be cool just to add a destroyed house, or trees or something like that. |
nullFew tips for coding.
1. Keep the script as short as possible.
2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out.
3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read.
These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes. |

Of course. cut out some of that terrain and expand as you see fit. |

Quote: Remember, use the map we provided as your starting point. Also, use at least one texture with the MODSonline name in your map. We provided 2 for you to choose from.
So you can alter whatever you want, as long as you take the map as your starting point, addrake. |

I guess the thing is. As you state, as long as we start with this. We can alter it to our needs. Thats really all we need to know - and include something with the custom textures. That's exactly the point. |
