hello all, i looked at the tut, and tryed to follow the steps... but i got to the "D:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\bin" and duble clicked at the "CoD2compilesTools.exe". But it says: "The application failed to prepare right (0xc0000135). Click at button 'OK' to end the application" I reinstalled the game but nothing changed.... so is there an solution (is this error, normal?) or is there an download link too get it???

Are you trying to compile your map? If so, then go to Start/All Programs/Activision/Call Of Duty 2 Mod Tools/Call Of Duty 2 Compile Tools You should see the name of your map on the left side.

nullFew tips for coding. 1. Keep the script as short as possible. 2. Don't comment every line. Only comment portions where they may be needed to point something out. 3. Don't over complicate the script, keep it organized and easy to read. These help you find simple errors and makes it easy to make changes.

You need to install .NET FrameWork and the d3dx9_27.dll.

Hello again, i did Download the .dll and copied it to Windows\system32. Good till now... then i tryed again to compile the map but the CoDcompiletools.exe dont start and says the same error... so i Unistalled the game then the tools, and then i Installed again... then i tryed again but nothig happents again... why?

With only the d3dx9_27.dll the error won't be gone. You also need to install .NET FrameWork. http://www.modsonline.com/Forums-top-22072.html%23121956

thanx it works... but if i want to compile an map and press any selection it says: An unhandled exception has occured in your application. if you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit the application will b shut down immediately. Could not find a part of the path "D:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2bin\CoD2CompileTools.settings". Then the options: Details, Continue, Quit I select the continue but the problem comes again after i choose another selection. What should I do? Thanx and sorry about spaming....
