Ok here is my problem: Before 2 weeks or something I did formated my pc ( windows xp proffesional ) succesfully. But now when I go to start turn off computer doesnt appear .I mean the tab in which when u click appears turn off, reboot and one more option which I dont know how to say it in english. the only way I can turn off my PC is to click at log of the tab with the KEY thing and its yellow in colour.when i am logged off I can turn off my PC and choose another option like reboot etc. but only then! :(
Something else that I saw: I cant use ctrl+alt+del. when I press this combination the system says "this has been turned off by ur administrator" wat does this mean????

Can anybody tell me if I can solve these 2 problems?

PLZ HELP

Hmm, I suggest you backup your files. And reformat it.
It sounds like a bad installation. Don't do it yet, wait if anyone else says something.

Good Luck,
Brandon R

It sounds like you setup some strange user accounts... and that you are not logged in as the administrator. Maybe if you login as the administrator this will all seem to be fixed.

It could very well be a virus. When you last reformatted and loaded xp did you have your internet cable attached?

Rule #1 when I reload a customers or my own computer is to pull out the cable before I begin and plug it back in when I have at LEAST some basic protection in place.

It may not be this at all though but simply an issue that I have seen before.

Good Luck

I agree with LPRay. Your internet cable should not be plugged when you make a new installation.

depending on what the files are try burning them to cd if you have got that working on your computer at the moment.
