Can i have multiple triggers on one speaker??like as if the player leaves the room and the sound stops(first trigger) then he comes back in moments later and the sound starts back up again (2nd trigger), ya know

like the way i have it, your in the main hall first, then you go into the other rooms and they eventually link up back into the main hall(after a series of stairs and hallways) and im trying to have to backround music kick on and off whenever the player leaves or enters the room...make sense??

how would i do that???

couple options:

- setup a trigger_multiple with a long reset time
- setup more than one trigger, but place a trigger elsewhere that activates the additional music triggers.
- setup multiple triggers with relays that will turn on the music and deactivate that trigger. then another trigger that will reactive the first trigger
- script the trigger on/off sequence

well what i did, i selected all the triggers im using and the speaker and clicked on "connect entities"...thats all i did, was there more to it?

I don't think that will work. Did you test it?

I provided you with different options because I don't know how your map is setup and therefore don't know what the best method would be for you to use.

Questions that determine what's best:
- How many times does it need to loop? infinite?
- How quickly should it reset? Every time the player passes the trigger or after some time has passed or after the player walks down the hall?
- How long is the audio? You don't want it to restart before it finishes.

i did try it afterwards, but nothin happens until i go through the 2nd trigger, its weird

see, the first trigger is in the doorway of the main hall(so the music starts up once you go through it) the 2nd trigger and 3rd trigger are in the doorways of the other rooms, so when you leave the main hall(passing through the 2nd or third trigger) the music stops, thats how i m trying to have it, but its not working or im doing something wrong...

the music loops because its only a 2 min song, but you can't even tell that its looping..
maybe its the reset function or somethin, i probobly don't make sense,lol..i'll take some screenshots and show you what i mean

nevermind, nevermind...i think i fixed, i think...i tested it and it worked, so im keeping my fingers crossed :)
