you cannot. if you want a new monster, you must start with a modeling program such as Maya or Lightwave. With it, you can model a new creature, animate it for the different types of movement it can achieve, convert it for use in the game and then continue from there (building materials, textures, animation files, etc). I believe that 3dbuzz.com has a video on this. (you must register and login to see them)
