According to Xboygen, Infinity Wards have dated the highly anticipated first person shooter Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare arms gamers with an arsenal of advanced and powerful modern day firepower and transports them to the most treacherous hotspots around the globe to take on a rogue enemy group threatening the world. The game has been scheduled to appear on October 30 here in the US followed with a November 9 in Europe.

Oct. 30, sweet, seven days earlier than what it originally was. Will be ready to pick up my copy. Wonder if they'll have a Collectors Edition available.

Whatever happened to simultanious world wide releases? I guess the above could be console releases? PC are generally at the same time. Theres alot of great games being released this year. COD4, Crysis & Airbourne. First time in ages I have wanted to buy more than one game.

Anothing thing for the Rumor Mill!!! Nowhere Activision and/or Infinity Ward announced a specific date of release. In the press room all you'll find is Fall 2007.

Article says Activision told them the release date. At CoD.com 402 said there's no official word on release date online. That doesn't mean those dates (Oct 30 and Nov 9) are wrong.
