You will need to register at the website to be able to read the Beta forum, the release is going to be in August this year! Its abit irritating that they concentrate on the 360! I wonder how far behind the PC MP beta will be? I used the 1 month Xbox live trial - only played online about 4-5 times - then didn't bother. Not as compelling as PC MP. If the COD4 beta is free then I'll try it, as long as I'm not require to be a live gold member.

I agree, its starting to seem like activision game development companies are beginning to focus on console gaming. Yes at the current moment they have better graphics, better gameplay, but most of us who have cod2 and want to get cod4 have a decent rig. I just don't like seeing everything pushed for consoles instead of PC.

It makes sense to do it on the Xbox after what happened with CoD2 for 360 players... they couldn't even play the game without serious lag for weeks. This is like easy Quality Assurance for IW + ATVI. And it seems like PC might get a MP demo by the sounds of it. PS. Didn't I post this already in the CoD4 section?

Im not even going to care much about all this beta for the 360, as they will just look for mostly bugs, and glitches, and see how the game will run for the 360. Just ot make sure it will run better then cod2 did, as you guys said it,the game run horribly before they patched it. Basically the game is almost finished, and I don't believe they will be looking into changing anything serious in the game style, options or settings. The Wallpapers are very nice to add. Im not even going to bother to visit the official forum, as it has too many ignorant people all around talking about things not much important, with ridiculous thoughts and accusations about the game.

its just a copy of the halo 3 beta. everything about the halo 3 beta and the way in which it was conducted was a success for microsoft and bungie. The same will hold true for cod4 and IW/ATVI

The company forums are like that too. I don't plan on checking out the CoD4 section of the company forums till demo is out and people actually have some hands-on material to praise/complain.
