hi all i made the downloads of my server go via a site and it does it fine but i uploaded 2 more files to the webspace and than i restarted the server and it didnt download those 2 new files and it didnt work for no1 and evertime i cleaned my uo dir and my friends did too it downloaded the other files but it did not download the other 2 files i added recently does any1 know how to fix this?, thanks in advanced

Hi Charlie, did you also upload those 2 files on the server itself? If you only put them on the redirect server but not on the gameserver, the gameserver will not call for them so they will never be downloaded to the players PC's... Grtz, BFT

i host the server on my pc and in a diff dir and ye ofc i putted them in my server dir first ;)

check to make sure the files on the redirect site are the exact same as on the server... also check for bad naming of the files e/g having svr in the name will stay server side only.

yeah ofc there exactly the same i uploaded them from that server dir and there isnt svr in it :S

Then the only thing left it can be is the server isnt seeing or using the 2 extra files and isnt calling for them to be downloaded to the clients... Add all the files into 1 mod instead of 3 seperate files.

eh the server is seeing them coz in the console it shows them loaded do you have msn or something mayb u can try help me via that so could any1 pls help coz im desperate here :S i cant get why he does download the other files but not those ones :S edited on Jul. 13, 2007 05:37 am by charlie112
