Parkour inspired games? Why not? DICE, the developer of their upcoming game 'Mirror's Edge', are working on something inspired by Parkour.

While Prince of Persia wasn't necessarily about getting to town to pick up your clothes from the dry cleaners in a rather unusual manor, the game Mirror's Edge banks on the success of realistic in-game physics to draw in the player.

The game may not be orientated around shooting guns to win, but more as using them to assist you in some stages of the game. DICE think it is hard to run off of walls while holding heavy guns. They must know what they are doing over there...

Prince of Persia was an interesting game; do you think this game can pull it off?

It sounds like it could be clasified as a puzzle style game play. If they can pull it of, they would be onto a winner? Of course they would need a disclaimer - Kids, don't try this at home!

If I'm right there's already a Parkour inspired game out there called Freerun or something like that, and it was for the ps2 or psp.
