Ok... I have an Elevator that work good... except
for when I reach the 2nd floor...
1st the whole thing turns around.. (ie the door jumps to the back and such)... then if thats not bad enough... the player gets "Punted" out of the elevator roof... then bounces off the roof, and dies on the ground...
It was kinda funny at first... but the humor die quick...

just wondering if anyone has had this happen, or am I just
the lucky one....

also wanted to know how to make it goto multiable floors.

Cool. I wonder if the path_track is turned around the wrong way. Perhaps the speed is too high.

that is kinda cool... gives me an idea for creating a faulty elevator that randomly malfunctions and kills players...[rocking]

Elevator Tutorial

This should help you building your elevator.
for the main problem : if it turns around, then yes, the path_track must be facing the wrong way. "fixed orientation" flag in your elevator entity could help too. (i think)

for multi-floors elevator : you need 4 path tracks looping in eachothers :

Next Stop Target = path02


Next Stop Target = path03


Next Stop Target = path04

(is located exactly at the same spot as path02)
Next Stop Target = path01


set this output for all path tracks : :
OnPass -> elevator01 STOP

you can also use scripting but for 3 floors, it's the easiest.

Just ask away if you need multi-floor WITH possibility to go down OR up while being at floor 2.
