attachment: application(967.4Kb)
here is a small collection of xmodel_export files, i converted some xmodels to MA and re-exported to xmodel_export, hence not all files in the attachment were delivered with the mod tools (shouldn't make any difference tho)

Thanks for the COD4 xmodel_export files, Sevenz.

I had a quick look at the structure of the files and they look exactly the same as those for COD2, so my guess is that the Blender to COD2 script will work for exporting COD4 xmodel_export files. (The only difference I noticed was that the material shader named near the end of the file is "Lambert" in the COD4 version and "Blinn" in the COD2 version.

I'm not in a position to write a tutorial on the export process because I'm not familiar with the COD4 mod tools folder structure, but it's probably not a whole lot different from the COD2 system.

I'm working on a way to get the Blender xmodel-export script to export the material settings and also to export multiple materials for one object.

Let us know how you get on with the models in COD4, M3NTA7.

Thanks a lot for the info!

I'm just getting started at this, so we'll see.

Cheers,
