Is there any way to go about pulling weapon models from other games to use as models in CoD UO?

If so what games are compatible?

Do not think so
If there is so that would be intresting......

i know that some polish guy called ziegen converted the greasegun from cod2 to uo somehow wich is workin cause i embed that gun in my mod

theres a converter where you can reconvert xmodels to. obj files if im correct that can be opend in Maya

but you need xmodels so you gotta do UV mapping to get the skin in a dds file and the tags and export them as a xmodel_export file and convert them after with the uo converter wich comes with the uo tools sure you gota give it a animation so in that case get a default weapon animation of cod for example mp 40 and set it up with you new gun if the handling is similiar

thats how he uses the greasegun if im right

any game is compatible just as long as u either have the source files or it is possible to decompile the models

i managed to get weapons from counterstrike in cod2 but i havnt released them since i dont have animations for them yet.

the decompiler for cod2 keeps the uv maps and for uo the arm rigs for the bar are out there so it is easy to make a animation for uo but cod2 dont have rigs released so its harder for us :(

Fist off, thank you for responding.

Any links to a decompiler would be appreciated. Also how would I go about converting them sevensniff?

Also, where can I find Maya? I would just learn how to make my own models if I had it. Would 3d max work or does it have to be maya?
