y does my doom crash when i try to save my map, like 1 in 10 saves the editor stops responding and it messes up my pc so i gotta restart n i lose what i have done on my map

when did this start happening? Does it happen with just the one map or all maps?

How much RAM do you have? I have seen when I open a stock map, my pagefile goes o like 1.5GB. Have you specified a pagefile size, or do you have it on auto? I have mine on auto, I have 512MB RAM and still when I work on my own maps, the pagefile is at least 500MB. Either way, we need more info.
