Activision and Infinity Ward has officially announced Call of Duty 4 and have also confirmed that it will be released on the PC. The press released is posted below...

Glad it's returning to the PC, but I want to see some real gameplay first, not staged gameplay. I want to see what it really looks like from the eyes of the player.

I could of beat you both :P, I saw this News last night. Just to tired to post it.

My apologies to all you CoD2 enthusiasts out there, but I thought the gameplay was a significant step backwards from UO (almost as though it was a straight console port), and I just didn't like the MP side at all when compared to UO. If, as I suspect, CoD4 is just going to be CoD2 with better graphics and a modern facade, I'll pass.

Of course, I haven't seen a gameplay video yet. I'd like to be wrong.
