iam just starting with mapping
i keep getting this error after compile and then run select map,
for test can't find what iam doing wrong
is there anyone who can help

Did you make a gsc file?

hi yes i did but getting another error now "couldn't find .fx "so now i have to make a .fx file

You don't have to make an fx file yet, make sure you don't have any custom maps or mods in your main folder, if there is just remove them into a temp folder, that can cause the error.

Post your gsc file please.

You don't need really the _fx.gsc file yet (if you don't have effects on your map which needed to precached).
Remove the line
maps\mp\your_map_name_fx::main();
from your gsc file or make it a comment (add two slashes // infront of this line).

Well Hey Man This not so hard to fix Look

Step 1:Run cod2

Step 2:Click on start a new server

Step 3:On the start new server Look for pure (turn pure off)

Step 4: on ur consolo Tipe in /map andurmapname

Step5 :u still get erroo Just make sure u u added lighs and stuff
