Hey,

For my esa_snowbunkers map, im creating some cliffs with a bunker inside them. Now i know how to make the cliffs fine with terrain meshes and edditing the verts, but when it comes to bending the thing :S

This is why i need to know how to create a terrain mesh that is also a patch mesh so i can bend it, any answers will be appreaciated,

thanks,

Adam.

I remember theres a good UO video tutorial for bending roads, that should help, just use that technique for the cliffs.

It's pretty simple really. If you want to bend the patch you need to shape it as a patch mesh and deal with the inaccuracy. If you want the accuracy of a terrain mesh you'll need to bend it somewhat manually. What I do for situations like that is create a simple patch mesh and bend it to the general shape I want. Then I create a terrain mesh in the same area and manually put the verts where they correspond with the points on the patch mesh.
