im trying to change the weapons ammo, i done that but where in the .pk3 do i put it? or do i just make a zzz_weaponname.pk3 and add it to weapons/mp/weapon

as far as i know u put the weapon_mp back in the same pk3 where u got it....i never done that stuff my self but,im just telling u what i read to do

DO NOT CHANGE STOCK PK3's!!!!!!

You will get booted from every other server for "impure client".
Extract what you need to change to a directory on your drive.
Change what you need to change.
Zip it to a file.
Rename the file to something like zz_mymod.pk3

Preserve directory structure!!!

i started fiddling around with a weapon file editor after i read post on top..i caught yer post just in time... thanx for the info

i already knew not to put it into a differend file cause yeah unpure client unless i run the server my self but then no one can join :P
but i already found out how, same way as i told above (soz) i could not check yet cause my cod was unistalled.
