This is your chance to get your voice heard!

MODSOnAir is looking for editorial field reporters to do just that. Grab a game, mod, or other piece of news and dissect it - then write and record an editorial piece for playback on MODSOnAir.

Pieces for submittal should be no longer than 2 minutes, and should be edited and ready for use.

Remember to speak clearly and keep your thoughts organized and family friendly - and make sure that at the end you say "in the field for MODSOnAir - this is [insert your name here]"

Also, when submitting, please include a small written introduction on what your editorial is about - and even more helpful would be a text version of your editorial for review.

Remember that our show is about modding, mapping and the gaming community on a whole - so try and focus your editorial into that genre.

Also remember that not all editorials can or will be used, but we look forward to all of your submissions

If you become a field reporter, here is the stuff you should say. You might want to copy-paste this into notepad and save it or something.


"Hi. This is [insert name] from MODSonline bringing you special insight into the game mods you might not know everything about. This weeks mod is "...
Name the mod
Tell them about the mod
"Find out more information about this mod by visiting "...
tell them the mods URL
"Or by checking out the link in the show notes of this MODSonair episode."

"In the field for MODSOnAir - this is [insert your name here]"

Are you going to have some formal progression where you ask a person to review game x or mod y?

Or are you just asking people who are interested to just choose something at there own disgretion and just submit to see what people come up with?

Sounds like a great idea. Ad some diversity to episodes, not there isn't any - beeps are becoming quite emphatic!

We are letting people do a report on whatever they think the listeners would like. Right now, there is no need to specify what to report on. Later, it might make sense to avoid repeated reports.

We just ask that the report be about 1 minute in length at this time. Maybe later we'll bump it up.
