This Saturday, April 28th 2007, will be the worldwide reveal and first look at Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Tune into the ESPN NFL Draft during 10 AM PST / 1 AM EST to be among the first to view the trailer, which will be immediately available online afterwards with a little extra surprise for your viewing pleasure.

Sounds interesting enough for me to go buy it. When is it projected to hit the shelves? I can tell you personally, babycop, that I will keep on working on my own COD2 SP map(s) even after the new COD4 comes out [thumbs_up]. It just may take a little longer to get done though [tongue]

I will still mod for COD2 even after this comes out because my PC probably won't be able to run this game either. So don't stop making those SP maps Babycop, I need something to play[biggrin]!!

I like the fact that its modern combat. There's already a lot of WW2 games out there. I'm looking forward to the new weapons that they will have.

Infinity Ward have been working on it for a year and a half, could probably see a release date before the end of this year as like the other two IW titles, who knows.

Ho Hum. Cod 2 was a turkey, IMO - not likely to buy another poorly supported IW product.

Well general99 cod2 may have been a turkey but many of us are still working at making it better for everyone who does enjoy it. And, who knows maybe cod4 will be a winner like UO was. Time will tell and if you are worried about it being a turkey or poorly supported by IW then just dont be the first in line to buy the game. Simple enough eh?

That's a little weird. Treyarch's job posting for CoD5 says "Must have extensive knowledge of FPS games, and preferably be a fan of World War 2 shooters." Could the even numbered ones be modern while the odd WW2?
