How do I change the number of nades that players start with?

In the weapon files you can limit the maximum number of grenades you can carry, maybe also the starting number.

Where is weapons file in the main or where. I also want to change the re-coil for all weapons.

The weapon files are in the .pk3 files.. not sure which, you'll have to look for them. In there you can alter the recoil for the weapons. Be sure to extract the files and put them in a new .pk3 file. No NOT alter the stock .pk3 files!

thanks but am sure this is a stupid question. How to I go about opening up a pk file and extracting to make another.

you can open .pk3 files in WinZip or pakscape. There is a tutorial on how to make .pk3 files in the CoD tutorial section. Just be sure to use WinZip or pakscape and NOT WinRAR.

@Caretaker, I've heard many times about NOT using winrar, but why is that?
I mostly use winrar [eek]

WinRAR uses a different package methode than WinZip. And CoD can't read it most of the time.

The the weapon files for UO are in pak04, I think. There's a setting in those files to set the "startammo," which should do the trick unless you have battle rank turned on. Apart from that, AWE will let you override the grenade count.
