J.T. actually has the last laugh here boys, sorry. Cho played violent video games back in high school so J.T. still has a point, a weak one if any.

They may have not found any video games in his dorm room, but according to his high school friends he did play Counter-Strike in High School. Which is more than enough for people to blame it on violent video games. I talked to my friend about this and we were discussing how there have been killings and murders since before video games were even a thought. What about all of those religious crusades or the movie 300 for example? King Xerxes did NOT play Counter-Strike in high school.... Obviously he had other reasons for his crusade to take over the world, but I think the people should investigate his religious background, his home life, and some of his writings before they blame Cho's madness on violent video games. edited on Apr. 21, 2007 12:34 pm by LTGHAVOK

J.T. never said the video games make people go out and kill, he says they influence you and prepare your mind state for such situations. I can believe that to some degree. But he's too wrapped up in making games bad that he never clarifies that other sources act as the stimuli to want to pick up a gun and go kill someone -- emotional state, being picked on, mental illness, personal desires, etc...
