I've taken out the models from iw_13 as described in one of the tutorials here. When I add one of them to one of my maps, then try to run it, I get these errors:

To me it looks like it can't run them because it doesn't know what file type they are (As my computer has all of its files with the extensions on the end), so it refuses to run them. Is there any way to fix this or extract them from the iwd differently?

Thanks yet again, you guys are great over here.

Hi,

I don't know if is this problem but: check if you don't have the folder xmodels like ...iw_13/xmodel/.... - you only need to have the folder xmodel (in the main) and inside the models, not a folder iw_13, inside xmodel....

I had opened iw_13.iwd with WinRar and extracted it into a folder called iw_13. I cant seem to find that Call of Duty 2\Main\xmodel.

cut the xmodel folder inside the uncompressed iw_13, into the main.
Thats should work [drink]

I think that's done it. I can see a proper outline of an object instead of just a red box now in the editor.

Thanks! [thumbs_up]
Where would I be without you all here..[rolleyes]
