Okay well my friend has had this probley for like a week now and we need some help so if anyone could help that would be great

My friend got the same problem...i think he reninstall the CoD2 and the problem gones...
Try it :)

He has 3 times.

he got kicked becuase his CoD_MP_s file is not the correct file.. not the file it should be when he's running stock CoD2.

Does he use a hack or a no CD crack or something?
Also.. have him not only reinstall CoD2, have him remove his CoD2 install folder too, because some files are left in there on an uninstall.

No he does not hack and he has deleted files and reinstalled and reformatted so many times.. Please help

First this isn't something that we generally work with here as it has to do with software outside our expertise and should be asked in another forum ie: Punkbusted Forums

However with that said what is basically happening, with the error message that you've displayed, is that the MD5Tool (Punk Buster) is checking the files in his game folder and finding something wrong with it. Now this can be a cheat or it can be a corrupted file.

Now there are a few ways to work on this and one of them is re-installing the game (Wait for it, this time make sure he deletes the actual CoD2 folder complete with all his saved games etc) Now I did notice that you mentioned he did a format? Are you saying he formated his hard drive and still had the problem or some other type of format? Not really sure what you meant with that.

If that doesn't work post his system specs including sound cards etc.
