what is the max size of a brush allowed, details and so on,

a list of all (most important to know) limits please ?

you really shouldn't be making a map that reaches these limits.

here are player dimensions:
http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Dimensions

brushes: 65536
entities: 2048

I am not sure what other limits you are looking for. They are not easy to find which is why I don't have a list already available.

afaik you should stay in the grid, so, the max brush size is as large as the grid itself, but im not shure about that

that one I don't know. I do know you will get a compiling error with some maps if a brush is too large. When that happens, you just divide the brush up. But I don't know the max size and I can't seem to find it either.

ok then, is there a distance cull like in sof2 to tell the engine when to stop rendering stuff ? I got a black fog at 2000, so i could use a distance cull condition if there is one, set it to about 3000 ?
