I've had recent problems compiling my map. I just made I few minor changes one day (adding a few brushes here and there, getting out some glitches...etc...), when I made a change that apparently goofed up my map. Now when I compile it just stops at "merging into concave windings...", I have no errors causing the stop (such as bad vertex points etc...) that appear in the compile window (other than a few no collide for some models). I realize that compiling may take a while but I left my map sit just compiling overnight for about 8 hours, when I came back, it still said "merging into concave windings...", the funny part is, I only have 2 patches in my whole map, as it is fairly new in production. Any help given to help my compiling problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

it may also have to do with the brushes in your map.. not everything is patch related.

Done any extreme clipping? Used Ctrl-Z a couple of times maybe?

Yes, actually I have. I probably have used clipping several times in my map already. Seeing as my friends in mapping hardly use it at all, I would say I probably use it more than normal, but that's just my guess. Any way I can find out which clipping is causing the problem, if that is the problem?

Never mind, I just got rid of a clipper I just cut, and used brushes to produce the same effect, and wallah! now my .bat compiles successfully. Thanks a lot, that was a big help. [thumbs_up]
