im british and i am gonna get united offensive in about 11 days when it is released. i am assuming you americans already have it. am i right. if so could someone compare it to call of duty and say how it compares. are the levels better, worse. what are the battlefield style mp maps like ?. are the new mp modes any good. hows the flamethrower etc ???

Looking forward to the flamethrower! It's really something I missed in this version. It was a great weapon in RTCW. In MP, it would definitely be a better weapon than the panzerfaust. Maybe too good hehe, but you could surely fry some people pretty well. Just wonder, can maps that has been made for COD be used with UO with some minor adjustments, or are they totally incompatible? Would it be possible to make a Flamethrower mod for COD, either by making it from the bottom, or by lifting it from UO?

yeah as a mapper i am equally excited about the new textures, models, weapons, particale effects in uo as i am about actually playing it. But i guess uo will require a new version of radiant ?
